What to Expect in the Healthcare Administration Program
Swedish Institute’s Healthcare Administration program will prepare you to handle the responsibilities associated with medical administrative procedures and adhere to the regulatory requirements of the healthcare delivery system.
You will begin with introductory coursework in medical insurance, patient scheduling, medical records management, and revenue cycle management. You will gain an in-depth knowledge of diagnostic and procedural coding, ICD-10-CM concepts, CPT concepts, and HCPCS concepts. You will practice financial functions related to patient billing and collections procedures, accounting, scheduling appointments, administrative duties, and customer service.
