“Our programs have raised the bar on curriculum standards to ensure our students are prepared for success at every level,” said Vincent Metzo, Dean of the Personal Training Program at Swedish Institute.

Metzo explains how mastering the three components of evidence-based practice including research evidence, clinical expertise and client values is critical to achieving all the skills one needs to excel in the field.

“Interpersonal skills, business skills and technical skills are key components for success,” Metzo said. “Having a full 360- degree perspective is what sets our graduates apart from the rest. Personal training jobs are not just the training of the physical, it’s the relation of physical training to the whole individual.”
