Requests for Reasonable Accommodation

Swedish Institute is committed to providing qualified students with disabilities an opportunity to access the benefits, rights and privileges of school services, programs and activities in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
Accommodations for classroom, laboratory or clinical settings will be considered according to reasonableness.

Please note: any accommodations that would compromise patient care, cause an unsafe condition to arise, or fundamentally alter the nature of the program or activity are not considered reasonable.

Applicants who believe they are in need of accommodation should contact the Director of Admissions to discuss their needs. We encourage applicants to request accommodations at least 30 days in advance of the start of classes in order to provide ample time for the request to be reviewed and accommodations arranged. (Any appeals of a decision are made to the President of the college.)
