Our Students

Although students from all over the U.S. and from many foreign countries are educated here, the core of Swedish Institute’s student population consists of residents from the greater metropolitan New York area. Approximately 500 students are enrolled in one of our programs.

Students are a wide range of ages, from 18 to over 55, with an average age in the mid- 30’s. This means that most have worked full-time, many have attended college and some are raising a family.

The diversity of student backgrounds enriches the institution and reflects the cosmopolitan aura of the city.
