Library
The main library at Swedish Institute is located at 226 West 26th Street on the 6th floor. It serves the Massage Therapy and Personal Training programs and includes resources in the biosciences, nutrition and alternative medicine, including acupuncture and Oriental medicine.
A branch library center is located at the 151 West 26th Street building on the 4th floor and includes specialty resources for the Nursing, Clinical and Administrative Medical Assistant and Surgical Technologist programs. Libraries are equipped with computer terminals and study tables.
RESOURCES
All students and instructors have access to a 50,000+ volume online collection through ebrary. The collection supports all programs and includes standard library collections in general education including social sciences, humanities, English, mathematics and sciences. Students can access full-text items through a virtual bookshelf and use study/research tools including web links, highlighters and bibliography and footnote formatting templates.

Swedish Institute is a member of the METRO consortium of New York metropolitan area public, medical, and university libraries. Through METRO, students can access collections on-site at other METRO member libraries with several libraries offering borrowing privileges. METRO includes a number of nearby medical library collections.
A library cooperation agreement also exists with our sister school, nearby Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
