"I was in the first graduating class with the extended curriculum, earning an Associates degree in 1999. I have had a wonderful career, a very successful private practice, specializing in medical and rehabilitation. One of my first jobs out of school was at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Now, 16 years later, I am at UNC Cancer Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, massaging in-patients. I work with very difficult situations, medically and emotionally, and help people transition. My private practice is very strong, loyal, and I make a nice living. Yes, there are physical demands sometimes, but a lot of clients I see suffer from sitting at a computer all day. I know that my body (and mind) is really healthy since I am doing what I love, moving all day, and most importantly, helping people with their suffering.
Thank you for a wonderful education. I can see from living in another state that has different licensing regulations, that The Swedish Institute prepared me up to be educated and successful from day one".
