Massage Therapy Alumni in the News

Congratulations to Massage Therapy Alumni Gary Bergman and Andrea Lunkins, who were recently featured in national publications.

Gary was the subject of a Sports Illustrated online article entitled "The Healing Hands of Gary Bergman", a two-page write-up detailing the massage skills he used on athletes at the U.S. Open in September 2005. Gary was also thanked and praised by tennis pro Justin Gimelstob in his online blog, which appeared on the Sports Illustrated web site during the Open.

Andrea Lunkins wrote an article entitled "I Love This Job!" for the September 2005 issue of Essence magazine, which had a special section on work and wealth. In the article, Andrea described her work as an independent massage therapist specializing in sports massage, including a stint at the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
