Clinic ServicesThe Yu Wen Clinic welcomes people of all ages with a wide range of health issues and wellness needs to experience the unique approach to body, mind and spirit offered by Classical Chinese Acupuncture. The clinic offers a series of sessions that consists of an initial assessment followed by 12 weeks of acupuncture treatments. Advanced students in our Acupuncture Program, supervised by licensed faculty, provide treatments for patients. No doctor’s referral is necessary, but we require the name and phone number of your primary care physician for emergency purposes. The fee for the 13-week series is $325; $100 for senior citizens (over 65) and SSI recipients. Payment in the form of a check or money order made payable to the Swedish Institute must be sent with the Registration Form. Please do not send cash. A $50 fee will be charged for checks returned for insufficient funds. Your appointment will be confirmed by mail. Once your appointment has been confirmed, your fee is non-refundable. Requests for appointment times are filled in the order in which they are received. If the clinic schedule fills and there are no time slots available, your check and Registration Form will be returned. You will be kept on our waiting list and will be mailed a Registration Form for the next clinic term. Clinic patients are encouraged to sign up for an entire series, however, if time slots are available appointments may be scheduled for a single session. Please call 212.924.5900 ext. 130 during clinic hours to inquire about appointment availability.
